Begin a career in fitness by completing the nationally accredited Active IQ Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. During your course you will learn the key practical skills and gain the necessary knowledge to effectively fulfill the role of a gym instructor, including how to:

  • Complete client consultations and health/fitness tests.
  • Design safe and effective gym-based workouts.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all members is maintained.
  • Build effective working relationships with gym members to aid member retention.

This qualification is the pre-requisite for the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, for those that want to progress their careers past the role of a gym instructor.
